This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms of Sale and should be read in conjunction with our main Terms of Use. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Order processing

Turn-around: We aim to pick, pack and dispatch all in-stock orders within 1 working day (Monday–Friday).

Orders placed after 1 p.m. UK time are processed on the next working day.

We may split large orders into multiple parcels; please allow up to 2 working days between parcels before contacting us.
If an item is missing after that window, please email support@foxandfablebooksellers.com quoting your order number.
All books are brand-new, unread and sourced direct from publishers—so you enjoy publisher-fresh quality at outlet prices.
2. Postage rates & delivery windows
The times below are maximum estimates; most parcels arrive sooner.
No courier deliveries occur on Saturdays, Sundays or UK Bank Holidays.
2.1 UK deliveries (England, Wales, BFPO)

2.2 Scotland & Northern Ireland

Orders under 5 kg: pay the UK rates above.

Orders 5 kg or more: flat £17 tracked service.
Free-delivery trigger: If your < 5 kg basket qualifies for free shipping, place the order then email us—our team will refund the carriage manually until our checkout supports this rule.
2.3 Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Highlands, Isles
We levy the courier’s surcharge at cost. Rates appear at checkout once you enter your postcode.
3. Shipping destinations
In accordance with our Terms of Use, we sell and ship products to United Kingdom residents only. This includes England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, and British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses.
We are unable to process or ship orders to any destination outside of the United Kingdom at this time.
4. Tracking & delivery issues
You’ll receive a dispatch email with tracking once your parcel leaves us.
If tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received the package:

Check any safe places, neighbours or concierge desks.

Wait 24 hours—some couriers scan early.

Contact us; we’ll liaise with the carrier and, if necessary, arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Terms of Sale.
