The Skeleton Key

In the summer of 2021, Nell returns home to celebrate an anniversary at her family's request. Her father, Sir Frank Churcher, created a sensation fifty years ago with his book The Golden Bones, which combined a picture book and a treasure hunt. It tells the story of Elinore, a murdered woman whose skeleton was scattered across England. Readers followed clues in the book to uncover buried jewels, leading to the formation of the Bonehunters, a competitive community obsessed with finding the remaining hidden treasures. As tensions rise, Nell confronts the dark legacy of her father's creation.
